A well-established accounting services firm located in Downtown Los Angeles is seeking an experienced and reliable Accounts Payable Specialist to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:
Review and process high-volume vendor invoices for multiple clients in a timely and accurate manner
Match purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents
Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
Maintain vendor records and handle new vendor setup, including W-9 and payment terms verification
Reconcile AP subledger to general ledger and assist with month-end closing procedures
Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies professionally
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper coding and approval of invoices
Assist with 1099 preparation and year-end reporting
Qualifications:
3+ years of full-cycle accounts payable experience
Prior experience working in an accounting services or multi-client environment is a plus
Strong knowledge of GAAP and AP best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with QuickBooks, Bill.com, or other AP platforms preferred
Excellent communication and organizational skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
